Brussels Postpones New Energy Regulations

The European Commission has postponed the adoption of new energy regulations, which are deemed as the basis for creating the Energy Union and seen in Moscow as an anti-Russian initiative, until Feb. 16. The commission initially planned to adopt the so-called "gas package" on Wednesday, but decided to postpone it because it also adopted a big migration package and "wants to give utmost attention to [the] energy package as well," a commission spokeswoman explained to International Oil Daily.
