Despite falling oil prices and continued pipeline stoppages, Iraq's semiautonomous Kurdish region on Thursday reiterated its recent commitment to pay operators for pipeline exports starting next month. The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Natural Resources Ministry said it received approval to pay "$75 million-$100 million" in the first half of September "to be distributed in broad proportion to the companies' past and present contributions to export."
