France's Total has given the clearest signal yet of its interest in future opportunities in Iran if the terms are attractive, but has reaffirmed that it will not enter any negotiations with Tehran until sanctions are lifted. Total was one of more than 100 companies that joined a French trade mission to Iran on Feb. 2-5, the biggest such visit in years, sparking concern that the companies might be at risk of violating international sanctions if they signed any deals.
