Novatek Courts China for Yamal LNG

Novatek has joined Russian state firms Rosneft and Gazprom in courting China for future gas shipments as it seeks to find customers for its flagship Yamal LNG project. Novatek representatives headed by the company’s boss, Leonid Mikhelson, were among the members of a Russian delegation chaired by deputy premier Arkady Dvorkovich that visited China and South Korea this week, a Novatek spokesman told International Oil Daily.
