Tripoli Resumes Zueitina Oil Flow

Libya’s state National Oil Corp. (NOC) has restarted pumping crude and condensates from pipelines at fields in the eastern Sirte Basin to the Zueitina oil terminal, the firm said in a statement (IOD Apr.5’13). An explosion occurred on a section of the pipeline linking field 103A -- one of two major oil fields operated by state subsidiary Zueitina Oil Co. (ZOC). NOC did not state why the explosion happened but did say ZOC employees had repaired the damage.
