Taiwan imported Iranian crude for the first time in four months, taking 61,000 b/d in April, according to Taiwan's Bureau of Energy. April Iranian volumes totaled 1.82 million bbl, the equivalent of one very large crude carrier (VLCC). The last time Taiwan had taken Iranian crude was in December when it also took a VLCC for that month.
