Shell Lifts Force Majeure on Nigeria LNG Feed Gas, Declares on Bonny Crude

Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) said Thursday it lifted the force majeure on gas supplies to the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) plant on Apr. 17, which was declared after a leak was found on the feeder pipeline in February and has helped foster recent tightness in global LNG markets. But the good news from Nigeria was tempered by Shell's declaration of force majeure on its Bonny Light crude exports yet again.
