China's crude imports rose by 3.3% year-on-year in April to reach 5.44 million b/d, according to Chinese government customs data. This is a significant slowdown from March, when crude imports jumped by 8.7% compared to a year ago. April imports also dipped by 2.3% from the previous month, when China imported 5.57 million b/d.
