Downtrodden Woodside Upbeat On Pluto, Browse LNG

Australian Woodside could be in for a better year after a forgetful 2011, when it watched its shares plunge by some 28%. On Wednesday the company announced its first significant gas discovery in over a year offshore Western Australia, and said it had received strong interest from its effort to sell part of its share in the struggling Browse LNG project -- where it also hiked its resource estimate by 15%.
