Russia's top private oil major Lukoil plans to buy 59 gasoline stations in the Netherlands and Belgium in line with its plan to expand its presence in Europe's retail market. The Russian firm said Thursday its subsidiary Lukoil Belgium N.V. signed an accord with Verolma Group to purchase 46 filling stations in the Netherlands and 13 units in Belgium. The deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter, pending approvals from Dutch and Belgian state regulators, Lukoil said.
