Surgutneftegas to Hike Capex

Russian oil major Surgutneftegas has unveiled plans to boost its year-on-year spending by 12.5% to 180 billion rubles ($5.997 billion) in 2012, investing into both upstream and downstream projects. At the same time, the company says it does not plan any acquisitions this year and will focus on a protracted plan to upgrade its sole Kirishi refinery.
