UK Firm Plans Underground Coal Gasification Project in China

UK-based Seamwell International is seeking to raise ￡25 million ($40 million) to fund a pilot underground coal gasification (UCG) power project in northern China’s Inner Mongolia region. The pilot could lead to construction of the first commercial project in two years.
