Alaskan crude oil production fell in Octo- ber to 598,929 b/d, losing 22,877 b/d com- pared to September and 55,381 b/d versus the same month of last year. According to field-level data from the state's Department of Revenue Tax Division, Prudhoe Bay led the decline. The BP-operat- ed field, still the biggest producer in the US, dipped below 300,000 b/d again in October with output of 293,643 b/d versus 306,696 b/d in September.
