Italian Gas Use Rises in 2010

Italian gas grid and leading storage opera- tor Snam Rete Gas on Thursday reported higher throughput in 2010, following a drop the year before (IOD Feb.11'10,p8). Gas in- jected into the transport grid rose 8.3% to 83.3 Bcm (8.1 Bcf/d), while Italian gas de- mand overall increased 6.4%, with recovery across all sectors.
