Seadrill said Friday it has been allocated $54 million worth of shares in the private placement of Singapore's Asia Offshore Drilling, corresponding to a 33.75% stake. The Norwegian company will also take over responsibility for construction supervision, project management and commercial management of Asia Offshore's jack-up rigs.
