Kuwait Ends LNG Imports

Kuwait stopped importing LNG in October after bringing in 38 cargoes this year, Kuwait Petroleum Corp. (KPC) deputy managing di- rector for marketing operations, Jamal al- Loughani, said on Tuesday (IOD Oct.5'11). KPC last year signed contracts to import an average of 500 MMcf/d between April and October through a floating LNG terminal near Mina al-Ahmadi.
