Gazprom May Hike Spending

Russia's Gazprom may hike its 2011 investment program again -this time to 1.241 trillion rubles ($44 billion) -the gas giant's finance chief, Andrei Kruglov, said on Wednesday. The board approved an 816.4 billion ruble spending program last November, but Gazprom deputy chief executive Alexander Ananenkov said earlier this month it had already been increased to 1.18 trillion rubles.
