Lufthansa Ups Fuel Bill Forecast

Europe's biggest airline, Germany's Lufthansa, expects to pay 30% more for fuel this year due to higher oil prices because of mounting unrest in North Africa and the Mideast Gulf. The carrier has upped its 2011 fuel bill forecast by ?300 million ($419 million) to ?6.8 billion, compared with actual fuel costs of ?5.2 billion last year and a previous record high of ?5.7 billion in 2008.
