China’s CNOOC says an oil sheen wasdiscovered Friday near its Jinzhou 9-3 Westoil field in Bohai Bay. As operator of the fieldwith full 100% interest, CNOOC earlier shut down platform B of the field, which has re-sulted in a production loss of approximately1,600 b/d of oil.
