Central Asian Explorer Tethys to List in London

Central Asia-focused explorer Tethys Petroleum is to list on the main board of the London Stock Exchange on Monday after abandoning earlier plans for a similar move in the Asia-Pacific region. Tethys expects trading to begin at 8 a.m. in London on Monday under the ticker TPL, subject to final approval from UK financial regulators. The company, which is active in Kazakhstan - where its prized asset is the Doris discovery in the west of the country - as well as in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, is already listed in Toronto and Almaty, although no trading takes place on the Kazakh exchange (IOD Apr.19'11).
