Saudi Aramco is looking to expand itspetrochemical business into Vietnam andIndonesia as it seeks to become the world’slargest integrated energy company by 2020(IOD Oct.11’11). Aramco sees the twocountries as potential growth markets forpetrochemicals, Aramco Project DirectorFaiz al-Sharef was quoted by the SaudiPress Agency as saying on Tuesday. He alsosingled out China, where the company isalready involved in an integrated refiningand petrochemical project. Al-Sharef saidthe company is conducting extensive stud-ies to see which other countries may beripe for chemicals investment.
