Beach Finds Egypt Gas

Australia’s Beach Energy said on Thurs-day it had found gas and condensate afterdrilling two exploration wells in the AbuSennan concession onshore northern Egypt.The first, GPZZ-4, recorded flow rates ofabout 1,000 b/d of condensate and 8.6 MM-cf/d of gas from two formations — the Up-per and Lower Bahariya — while the sec-ond, Al-Ahmadi-1, flowed 870 b/d of con-densate and 14.5 MMcf/d of gas.
