Fortune Expands China LNG Ops

UK-listed Fortune Oil is expanding its LNG business in China through ship refueling services and liquefaction of gas in the midstream. The company said last week it has signed an agreement with the local government in Xinyang, Henan province, to build an LNG production plant to liquefy and truck gas to users not in close proximity to existing pipelines (IOD May13’11). The plant’s capacity will be 10.6 MMcf/d and will take two years to construct.
