OMV to Sell Russian Assets

Austria's OMV is to sell the upstream assets in Russia it owns through Romanian oil and gas firm Petrom. "We are selling our only producing asset in Russia. It is in the Saratov area and will produce about 5,000 b/d," an insider tells International Oil Daily. "We are selling because we don't want to be in Russia. The political risk is too high."
