Falklands-focused explorer Rockhopper said Tuesday that it has raised around ￡48.5 million ($70 million) by issuing just over 17.3 million new ordinary shares at a price of 280 pence each. The proceeds will help fund its drilling program in the North Falk- land Basin off the South Atlantic Falkland Is- lands, including flow testing its Sea Lion dis- covery and drilling an exploration well at the Ernest prospect.
