MARKET EYE: Russian Export Flows Inch Up

Russia is set to boost seaborne exports via its pipeline system by more than 90,000 barrels per day this month compared with March, as firms take advantage of healthier prices and lower export duties. Crude oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has penciled in seaborne exports of 2.65 million b/d (10.847 million metric tons), versus a planned 2.559 million b/d in March. The April total excludes the Ukrainian port of Odessa, for which a final export schedule is still not available. Preliminary plans call for Kazakh companies to ship 83,000 b/d through the port, up from 76,000 b/d in March.
