Pertamina Eyes More of Elnusa

Indonesian state Pertamina reportedly wants to raise its stake in upstream services firm Elnusa. "We are interested in boosting Pertamina's stake in Elnusa and we are looking to be majority owner," Reuters quoted Pertamina head Karen Agustiawan as saying. Pertamina now owns 41% of the service firm, which also has interests in oil and gas fields, down from the 51% it held before an initial public offering in Elnusa last year (IOD Jan.8'08,p7).
