What looks like being a record winter urea season has drawn to an end in Australia. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, imports in July were huge at 496,000t, more than double the level of July 2015. August is expected to be another very high month because buyers went into the spot market to secure additional tonnes with contract suppliers unable to satisfy demand.
