OCP reports that it is consuming around 80,000tpm of ammonia currently. The producer says it has purchased a cargo this week at equivalent to $250/t fob Yuzhny; It is understood OCP has bought 23,000t of Rossosh ammonia which will load on the Cambridge at the end of June from Yuzhny. The Moroccan producer has reportedly chartered the Cambridge for 3 voyages at a competitive rate, which market sources say, would allow an estimated freight rate of around $30/t for a voyage from Yuzhny to Jorf Lasfar. The vessel is currently ballasting from Fujairah to Yuzhny.
