U.S. ferrous scrap exports recovered ground lost the prior month and almost doubled in February due to a spike in shipments to Turkey and a handful of other major destinations.Exports for the month as a whole increased by 481,229 tonnes, according to U.S. Commerce Department data, as flows to Turkey jumped by 156,638 tonnes, solidifying the country's perennial position as the largest consumer of U.S. ferrous scrap.
