Barge project in Northwest seen hiking plate demand

Greenbrier said this past week that its Gunderson Marine division in Portland, Ore., has won an order from Kirby Offshore Marine, a unit of Houston-based Kirby Corp., for an articulated oceangoing oil and chemical tank barge. The order includes an option for a second barge.
