Copper posts modest gain, reversing four days of losses

Copper reversed several days of losses Tuesday on news of a possible Greek bailout deal that strengthened the euro and boosted the dollar-denominated commodity. Comex copper for July delivery closed at 4.0885 dollars per pound Tuesday, up 0.4 percent from 4.0735 dollars a day earlier. It had traded at an intraday high of 4.1285 dollars Tuesday.
