Cliffs Natural Resources Inc.'s decision to move to a global pricing mechanism could benefit both the iron ore producer and steelmakers, according to insiders and experts. The Cleveland-based miner anticipates that starting in 2016 less than 10 percent of its North American contracts will be based on its original formula, which includes the selling price of hot-rolled coil among its criteria.
