摘要

highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) has extended the life expectancy of patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HTV-1) and has significantly reduced viral burden (43, 74). However, serious HIV-related complications including cardiac and skeletal myopathies, hypertension, hy-perinsulinemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and insulin resistance have been shown to develop over time (16, 57).
