mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from bone marrow are plu-ripotent adult stem cells that can differentiate into a broad spectrum of cells, including osteoblasts, chondrocytes, adipo-cytes, neurons, skeletal muscle cells, and cardiomyocytes (25, 31) 43). Multidisciplinary researchers have paid great attention to MSCs, which have been considered as a source of cells for cell-based therapy in regenerative medicine, especially in re-Pair of damaged myocardium (24, 27).Clinical trials showed that implantation of human MSCs into mfarcted myocardium tissues improved cardiac function (39).
