The effects of biological control agents (Bacillus subtilis and Trichoderma harzianum) on the yield and quality parameters of Phalaenopsis (cultivars Montreal and Surabaya) grown under greenhouse conditions during 2005-2007. Seedlings were planted on growing beds (6.0 m long, 1.0 m wide, and 0.3 m deep) filled with a mixture of tree bark (40%), pumice (20%), peat (20%) and Mapito (20%). The biological control agents did not significantly vary in terms of flower yield, flower stem length and stem diameter (except for flower stem length obtained from the first flush on second year). The highest mean values of flower stem length and stem diameter were recorded for Surabaya. Montreal had a higher flower yield than Surabaya.
