Indian end-users were not in a rush to close spot deals for imported thermal coal, as they were in a wait-and-watch mode in an oversupplied, falling market, sources said Wednesday. Platts assessed the 30-60 day prices of both CFR India West and East 5,500 kcal/kg NAR coal at $60.55/mt, both slipping 50 cents on the day.
