CAPP and PRB spot coal prices edge higher in low volume session

Central Appalachian and Powder River Basin 8,800-Btu/lb spot thermal coal prices closed higher on Monday, to their highest levels since the May contract rolled into the front month position on March 26. CAPP barge and PRB 8,800 May contracts were seen trading in the session, while the CSX May contract was framed higher.
