Central Appalachian thermal coal contracts were seen trading in large volume on Tuesday, with spreads accounting for most of the day's action. Most of the time spreads took place along the CAPP rail (CSX) curve, with the Q2 2014 over Q4 2014 spread trading for a total of 170,000 st/month.
