My association with Mr. D.M. Trivedi began when I joined CHEM-EXCIL in 1964. The work of the Technical Information Centre for Chemical Industry (TICCI), just then set up by the ICMA in collaboration with CSIR, was yet another forum for my frequent interaction with him. From 1972, when I joined ICMA, the relations steadily grew and he was practically my 'Guru' as he was to all of us in ICMA.
