Austria's Porner to set up bitumen plant for IOC

The Austria-based energy and chemicals engineering company, Porner has won a contract for work on a 100,000-tpa bitumen plant at Indian Oil Corporation's (IOC) Barauni refinery near Patna. The scope of services that the Austrian company will provide includes licensing, pilot tests, basic engineering, supply of core components, as well as commissioning support and start-up.
