Lanxess announces first acquisition in Argentina

German speciality chemicals major, Lanxess, has announced expansion of its activities in Latin America. Rhein Chemie, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanxess, has acquired Argentina-based Darmex S.A. - a leading manufacturer of release agents and curing bladders for the tyre industry.
