Chambal Fertilisers and Zuari Industries post healthy net profits in Q3

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. (CFCL) has boosted its net profit by 34.71% to Rs. 107.42-crore in Q3 FY11 (Rs. 79.74-crore in the corresponding period of preceding year). The increase in profit was driven by robust growth in profitability of fertilisers business, traded goods (that comprise outsourced fertilisers and other agri-inputs) and textiles business. The company increased net sales to Rs. 1,352.80-crore (Rs. 1,141.66-crore).
