Tide Water Oil Co (India) Ltd, an Andrew Yule Group company, has said that the acquisition of lubricant major, Veedol International Ltd, would help it (Tide Water) to foray into the global markets. Veedol has presence in a total of 123 markets in the world.Tide Water is planning to market the Veedol brand in the Middle East, German-speaking European regions and parts of Latin America like Cuba, Colombia and Mexico. "Acqui-sition of Veedol will help us to enter global markets. Entry in some markets like Middle East and Europe will be on our own, while entry into Latin Ameri-can markets will be through joint ventures or franchisees," Mr. Kallol Dutta, Chairman and Managing Director, Andrew Yule & Co Ltd. said.
