Domestic biotech sector clocks 17% growth in 2009-10: Survey

The Indian biotechnology industry grew by 17% in the 2009-10 financial year over the previous fiscal to post revenues of Rs. 137-bn ($3-bn). This was revealed in a survey conducted by the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) and the BioSpectrum magazine.
