The domestic paint industry may grow at a slower pace in the financial year ended March,for the first time in three years,due to a decline in the demand for cars,offices and homes."We are expecting the industry to grow by only 10-12% this year as against 15-16% last year,owing mainly to the slowdown in the auto and manufacturing industry," said Kansai Nerolac's Managing Director Mr.H.M.Bharuka.The decorative segment has grown 18% in the last one year,while the industrial paints business has expanded by just 5-7%.
