Pharrna industry told to strengthen drug discovery efforts even as it consolidates gains in generics

The Indian pharmaceutical industry needs to focus and strengthen its ongoing efforts in drug discovery and drug development even while making all out efforts to fully capture the generics space to sustain the growth of the industry in the long run.This was the advice given by Mr.V.S.Sampath,Secretary,Department of Chemicals&Petrochemicals,Govt of India,to the industry.
