Bayer MaterialScience to provide customised solution for safe and hygienic storage of polio vaccines

The 'BaySystems' polyurethane systems house of Bayer Material-Science in Greater Noida is supporting the intense efforts for polio eradication in the country by providing a customised solution for the manufacture of vaccine carriers, which help to ensure that the vaccines are stored safely. 'Bay-Systems' is the umbrella brand for the global polyure-thanes systems business of Bayer MaterialScience. The systems house re-centiy handed over 2,500 vaccine carriers to the Government of Bihar at New Delhi in the presence of officials from the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and Rotary International who have joined hands with the Government of India and state governments in the effort to eradicate polio.
