Gulf Oil mulls blending unit in Chennai

Gulf Oil Corporation may set up an oil blending unit in Chennai,when Tamil Nadu moves towards a value added tax regime.On the sidelines of launching co-branded oils by the two Hinduja group companies,namely Gulf Oil Corporation and Ashok Leyland,N.C.Sekharan,head-lubes (strategic business unit),Gulf Oil,said that the only two locations in the country which are suitable for a blending unit are Mumbai and Chennai.
