Bayer MaterialScience AG has opened a Regional Service Centre in Hong Kong to concentrate the management functions of its Business and Service Units for Asia-Pacific.The resultant improvement in communication and cooperation between the various functional segments is expected to bring about a sustained increase in efficiency in the region.Speaking at the opening cere-mony,the Head of the Centre,Dr.Frank Rovekamp,explained that key factors in choosing the location were its proximity to all the Asian markets and the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the city.
